How I Made The Pomagranate Juice In The Garden Photograph
Sanders Studio is a full service advertising photography company specializing in food photographs. One afternoon while cutting matt boards for another photographer I had a lot of waiting time so I decided to shoot this test shot of Pomegranate Juice.
I started setting up the basic set and background then hung in some pomegranate blossoms to enhance the ultimate photograph. As you can see after adding dew drops and finessing the lighting this image looks as though it was photographed in an actual garden instead of a photography studio stage or set as seen in the photographs below.
All the stands, arms, knuckles, and cutters make a kind of mechanical robotic garden all of their own.
